Link to Gallery Folder

I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to link to a Gallery folder rather than just a picture. When emailing a link to a picture, there is no way for the recipient to tell what folder the picture is in (unless they can parse their way through the address, but that is not easy). It would be great to be able to email a link to an entire gallery.

I love this software and it has made sharing our thousands of family folders so much easier.

I'm just wondering if this "link to Gallery folder" idea ever materalized. I need similar functionality: I need to publish a simple website link (a href) that points to a specific folder in my gallery. As we know, when gallery first loads, the user is taken to the welcome page. He then clicks a folder on the left. Is it possible to give someone a link so that the desired folder just loads right off the bat?
